This Privacy Notice ("Notice") explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your data when you use Bucky App (the "App"), a social networking platform for creating, sharing, and achieving bucket list goals. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Notice.

Information You Provide

• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, username, and password. You may also choose to provide optional details like your profile photo or bio.
• User Content: Bucket list items, photos, comments, and other content you post or share on the App.
• Communications: Information you provide when you contact us for support or feedback.

Information We Collect Automatically

• Usage Data: Details about how you interact with the App, such as pages viewed, features used, and time spent.
• Device Information: IP address, device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
• Location Data: With your consent, we may collect approximate location data (e.g., city-level) to enhance your experience, such as suggesting local bucket list ideas.

Information from Third Parties

• Social Media: If you log in via a third-party service (e.g., Google or Facebook), we may receive your name, email, and profile picture from that service, depending on your settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the App’s features, such as displaying your bucket list or connecting you with other users.
• Personalize your experience, including suggesting goals or content based on your interests or location.
• Communicate with you, such as sending account updates or responding to inquiries.
• Analyze usage trends to enhance performance and develop new features.
• Ensure safety and security, including detecting and preventing fraud or abuse.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following cases:

• With Other Users: Content you post (e.g., bucket lists, photos) may be visible to other App users based on your privacy settings.
• Service Providers: We use Google Cloud to store and process data. Your information may be processed on Google Cloud servers, subject to their terms and security standards. We may also use other trusted third-party providers for analytics, customer support, or hosting.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a court order or government request.
• Business Transfers: If Bucky App is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Child Safety and Legal Compliance

To protect all users and comply with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards:

• We prohibit Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) as defined in our Terms of Use.
• If we detect or receive reports of CSAM in the App, we will remove it and report confirmed instances to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other relevant regional authorities, as required by law.
• Reports of CSAE or CSAM can be submitted via our in-app reporting mechanism "User > Report Icon > Report Abuse", and we may share such reports with law enforcement or trusted partners (e.g., Google Cloud, our backend provider) when legally obligated.

4. Google Cloud as Backend

The App relies on Google Cloud for data storage and processing. This means:

• Your data may be stored on servers managed by Google, located in various regions globally.
• Google Cloud’s privacy and security practices apply to the handling of your data under our instructions. For more details, see Google Cloud’s Privacy Policy.

5. Your Choices

• Account Settings: You can update your profile or delete content through the App.
• Location: You can disable location access via your device settings.
• Communications: Opt out of non-essential emails by following the unsubscribe link in our messages.
• Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time in the App settings, which will remove your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App’s services. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for legal or operational purposes (e.g., backups) but will anonymize or delete it when no longer required.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

If you use the App outside Germany, your data may be transferred to and processed in other countries, including on Google Cloud servers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:

• Accessing, correcting, or deleting your personal data.
• Objecting to or restricting certain processing.

11. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the App with the new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Notice.
